These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CrowdRunner platform. By accessing or using CrowdRunner, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

CrowdRunner is a synthetic UX testing platform that uses AI-powered personas to evaluate websites and web applications. The service generates simulated user sessions, captures screenshots, and provides UX insights and reports.

2. Account Registration

You must create an account to use CrowdRunner. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to test websites or applications you do not own or have permission to test
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
• Use the service for any illegal purpose or to violate any applicable laws
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Resell or redistribute the service without authorization

4. Subscriptions and Billing

CrowdRunner offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and it will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the URLs and configurations you submit for testing. CrowdRunner retains ownership of the platform, AI models, personas, and generated analysis. Test results and reports are provided for your use under a non-exclusive license.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of CrowdRunner is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process data in accordance with GDPR and applicable data protection regulations.

7. Limitation of Liability

CrowdRunner is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amounts paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the service with reasonable notice when possible.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You can delete your account from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice.
