Discovery

Let CrowdRunner automatically find what to test on your site.

What is Discovery?

Not sure what to test? Discovery crawls your website, analyzes its structure, and suggests high-value test scenarios. It identifies key user flows — sign-up, login, checkout, search, navigation — and recommends specific tasks to run with appropriate cohorts.

Running a Discovery

  1. Navigate to Discover in the dashboard.
  2. Enter your website URL (e.g. https://yoursite.com).
  3. Click Discover to start the crawl.

CrowdRunner will crawl your site, discover pages and user flows, and then use AI to analyze the structure and generate test suggestions. This typically takes 1–3 minutes depending on the size of your site.

Reviewing Suggestions

Each suggestion includes:

  • Category — The type of flow (signup, checkout, navigation, form submission, content discovery, etc.).
  • Task description — A natural language description of what to test.
  • Success criteria — How to determine if the task was completed.
  • Confidence score — How confident the AI is that this is a valuable test.

Review each suggestion and approve or reject it based on your priorities.

Launching Tests from Suggestions

Approved suggestions can be launched directly as tests. Click the launch button on any approved suggestion to create a test with the suggested configuration pre-filled. You can also batch-launch all approved suggestions at once.

Each launched test counts against your plan's test quota. Your remaining quota is shown on the Discover page so you can plan accordingly.

Discovery History

Past discoveries are saved and accessible from the Discover page. You can revisit previous crawl results, review suggestions you haven't acted on, or re-run a discovery to see how your site has changed.
